What makes Corten steel special?
Corten steel is a weather-resistant steel alloy that was developed to form a characteristic rust layer without corrosion. When products made of bare Corten steel are exposed to the elements, a natural rust patina forms on their surface over time. This process begins with the oxidation of the steel, followed by the formation of an even layer of rust that undergoes various color changes over time. This patina not only protects against further corrosion, but also gives the products a distinctive appearance and increases the durability and weather resistance of the fire bowl.

How do I best make a fire in the BEER BOX?
We recommend placing a maximum of 3 kg of firewood in the BEER BOX at once, and especially at the beginning, using rather small and thin logs. The firewood should always be dry and, ideally, hardwood. You can also find suitable firewood from us:
Can I use the board as a cover?
No, the board should not be exposed to the weather permanently. When not in use, it must be stored indoors. Since the BEER BOX is made of Corten steel and develops a unique rust patina over time, it requires no cover for weather protection.
Does the grid fit under the board?
No, you can either place the grid or the board on the BEER BOX.
Can I place a cast iron pan or a Dutch oven on the grid?
Whether you can use your cast iron pan or Dutch oven on our BEER BOX depends on the weight. Our BEER BOX grid can hold a maximum of 6.5 kg. Within this weight limit, your creativity knows no bounds.
