Can I convert a SPIN air I’ve already bought for built-in use?
Yes, the SPIN air can easily be converted for built-in use. Simply remove the rubber seal from the bottom of the base and lift the wing body (which contains the burner) out of the base.
Where and in which materials can I install the SPIN air built-in?
You can install the SPIN air built-in in standard tables or sturdy outdoor objects – for example, in wood, metal, or stone. It’s important that your table or object is stable and that the surface can safely support the SPIN air built-in. For wood, we recommend using a hole saw with the appropriate diameter. In case of doubt, please consult a professional.
Custom built-in designs are permitted for outdoor use only.
What diameter do I need to cut for my SPIN air built-in?
The required cut-out diameter depends on the size of your SPIN air: 7.5 cm for the SPIN air built-in 900 and 10.3 cm for the SPIN air built-in 1200.
Can I use the SPIN air built-in indoors?
Yes, you can use the SPIN air built-in both indoors and outdoors. For indoor use, the table must be at least 80 × 80 × 75 cm in size and weigh at least 15 kg. Custom built-in designs are permitted for outdoor use only.
Can I adjust the flame height myself?
Yes, you can adjust the flame height with the Eco-Ring. It reduces ethanol consumption and thus increases the burning time by up to 50%.
Do I need to clean the Bio-Burner?
No, the Bio-Burner does not need to be cleaned. It is sufficient to dust it occasionally with a soft, dry cloth. The Bio-Burner must not be opened.
Which bioethanol should I use for the SPIN air built-in?
We recommend using only our liquid bioethanol for the SPIN air built-in. Make sure you use the correct type of bioethanol: liquid (green cap) for all SPIN and SPIN air models with a Bio-Burner, and gel (black cap) for all SPIN models with a gel fuel cup. Our bioethanol burns odourless and soot-free and is certified according to DIN 16647, making it suitable for indoor use as well.
Does the tinted glass of SPIN air Built-in all black remain black?
Yes, the color is already incorporated into the borosilicate glass during production. Heat cannot change the color.
