I ordered two Spin torches after quite some research into similar items, and as ever you get what you pay for. The torches arrived in just under a week, sadly one of the glass tubes was damaged upon arrival - one quick email to Customer Service and within a few hours I received a "no questions asked" confirmation that a new tube was being shipped FOC. Great product & customer service to be proud of. Great work Hofats !

Sehr schönes Tischfeuer! Egal ob drinnen oder draußen die Flammen kommen bis oben an den Rand in der bestellten 120er Version. Keine Windempfindlichkeit usw. Wärmt wenn man nah davor sitzt zusätzlich 👍 Top Produkt

I bought one of the Spin 90’s for myself and it was great so I bought one for my friend as a birthday present for his balcony terrace and his response was ‘It’s Awesome!’. I now have two of my own - one for each end of the table to keep my guests warm on outdoor evenings.. looks great and gives out good level of heat, just make sure you get the fuel here in order to get the thicker type so it lasts longer than the thinner more commonly available type.

Klare Kaufempfehlung
Heat all around
With SPIN you will be warm - from the inside and from the outside! From the very first minute, the rotating flame vortex radiates a pleasant temperature from all angles, which goes far beyond the warmth you can achieve with conventional candles or tea light stoves. Due to the additional positive effect of SPIN on the air humidity, just a few degrees of warming are enough to reach the comfort zone. The SPIN 120 radiates up to 2500 W and lets you prolong your evenings in the fresh air or spend cosy moments in your home.
What makes SPIN unique
SPIN enchants every situation with inspiring light effects and a cosy atmosphere. The spectacular fire whirl attracts attention, the radiating warmth simply does a world of good. Use SPIN indoors and outdoors. Suspended from the ceiling, as a lantern on the balcony or as a garden torch. With the organic höfats bioethanol, SPIN burns safely, odourlessly, smokelessly and sustainably (not included, please order separately!).

This is fire enjoyment from every angle!
SPIN ACCESSORIES
Equally as versatile as you are! Place SPIN wherever you want. Without any tools!
The secret behind the flame vortex
How is the signature SPIN flame vortex created? When the höfats bioethanol gel fuel is ignited and the glass cylinder made of heat-resistant borosilicate is placed on top, the inflowing air is set in rotation via three baffles. This movement is passed on to the flame, and the glass's own thermals and chimney effect additionally propel the fire vortex, which is securely enclosed. As a result, the flame grows by more than 500 percent in height and extends over the entire length of the glass cylinder - without any additional energy at all!
Why höfats bioethanol gel fuel?
SPIN bioethanol - odourless, smokeless and organic!
Only with our bioethanol gel fuel you will achieve the perfect flame result for your SPIN 90 and SPIN 120. The viscous consistency considerably increases product safety (certified according to DIN EN 16647) and guarantees the safety of your SPIN even indoors.
höfats' bioethanol is obtained from renewable raw materials and biological waste. This natural fuel for SPIN is therefore sustainable and also burns completely odourless and soot-free.

HÖFATS DNA
A tornado of fire in a glass. Without electricity. Without hazardous fumes.
The origin of this extraordinary höfats idea lies in our deep enthusiasm for physical phenomena. Fascinated by the dramatic interplay of tornado and fire, we were spurred on to translate this force of nature into a product that tames the flames and brings them into our homes in a completely harmless and comforting manner.
Before we could get to that point, we had to understand the principle behind this down to the smallest detail. We tried out a tremendous amount. Our most spectacular result: a flame more than ten metres high, driven by twelve powerful fans. Of course, such a system is not a solution for the living room. Therefore, our next ambition was to create the fire vortex purely thermally and, ideally, without any electricity at all.
A few tests later, the concept was born and the foundation was laid for today's SPIN flame vortex.
Can I hang up the hanging fire straight after delivery?
Yes, our SPIN hanging fire always comes with a ring screw and wall plug, so you can set it up and hang it straight away.
Can I also use the hanging fire as a tabletop fire?
Yes, if you want to use your hanging fire as a tabletop fire, you can purchase the SPIN Base (the stand) separately in the matching size and colour. Instead of the suspension, the base is screwed onto the SPIN, instantly transforming it into a tabletop fire. You’ll find the bases in our spare parts section:
What clearance should I keep from the ceiling?
We recommend a minimum distance of at least 60 cm on all sides – including upwards. Downwards, SPIN emits no heat. The only exception is the SPIN 1500: when used with the hanging system, a minimum distance of at least 80 cm must be kept all around.
Can I upgrade my SPIN 90 | 120 hanging fire to a SPIN 900 | 1200 by purchasing the Bio-Burner?
Yes, by purchasing the Bio-Burner and using höfats liquid bioethanol, you can insert it instead of the gel container. This automatically upgrades your SPIN 90 | 120 to a SPIN 900 | 1200.
How should I store my SPIN hanging fire?
The SPIN hanging fire is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. If you use it outdoors, we recommend taking it down and storing it indoors when not in use or in bad weather to protect the glass and metal in the long term. In general, for all our SPINs, we recommend indoor storage to increase longevity.
