MOON 45 Perfect Pellet – The perfect upgrade for a long-lasting, smokeless fire. The set consists of the MOON Airstream and the MOON Ash Tray with Extension, ensuring a fire that is especially stable when using pellets and lasts at least twice as long. MOON Airstream prevents wind from affecting or even extinguishing the fire, while the interchangeable cartridge can be effortlessly removed from the MOON fire basket using the included lifter and swapped with the second ash tray, allowing the fire to continue seamlessly.

Habe im Dezember mit erheblichen Wind den Airstream getestet. Es hat mit Pellets sehr gut funktioniert. Ohne Airstream wurde der Moon in der Vergangenheit immer ausgeblasen. Für mich hat sich die zusätzliche Investition gelohnt.

To ensure your fire in the MOON continues to burn reliably and with low smoke even when the wind picks up, the MOON Airstream provides a consistent and controlled air supply.
The nozzle stabilises the airflow and directs it precisely into the combustion chamber, even in strong winds. This ensures the flame always receives enough oxygen.
Especially when using pellets, MOON Airstream prevents wind from disturbing the air balance or blowing out the flame. This allows you to enjoy a steady, beautifully shaped flame in any weather.
This is how you use MOON with and without the ash tray extension:
1. Filling with fresh pellets
Fill the MOON fire basket with pellets until they are just below the circle of holes. The extended ash tray will enclose about half of the pellets. Now you can ignite the fire as usual.

The burned pellets collect on the ash tray and are securely enclosed by the extension ring.

The burned pellets collect on the ash tray. They can only be removed once they have cooled down. Until then, the fire remains out.
3. Easy emptying and relighting the fire
With the lifter, you can safely remove the ash tray along with the remaining pellet residue from the fire basket. After properly emptying it (or swapping with a second ash tray), the MOON can be refilled right away – and the fire evening can continue.
3. Continue firing after about 4 hours
The hot pellets cannot be removed directly after the fire. Wait about 4 hours until they have fully cooled down and disintegrated. Then, you can remove the ash tray using the vertical handle and a glove, empty it, and refill the MOON for the next fire.
