And now the relaxing part of the evening can begin. After dinner, I remove the plancha platess from the BOWL. The fire continues to crackle quietly and turns into the sound of our evening. Our SPIN and GRAVITY CANDLE join in on their matching stands, instantly transforming our balcony into a cosy sea of lights.
Sitting on the balcony with friends, fire and candles - for me, that's the definition of cosiness.
FIRE IN THE CITY? HELL YES!
As soon as our little oasis is set up, we attract the interested looks of our neighbours. "What kind of fire swirl is this?" "It would look great on our balcony too!" I have to admit, it's not the first time I've been approached about the SPIN.
FIRE CAPTIVATES EVERYONE
We wave our neighbours over and unfold a few extra chairs. A fire like this is best enjoyed together. We quickly find common ground and chat about good food, design, travel and the beautiful things in life.
Meanwhile, the fire crackles steadily. At the end of the evening, the Veltliner is gone, and we have made new friends. A good trade.
