An extra gel fuel cup allows you to enjoy the fire without interruption. As soon as the SPIN goes out, you can remove the empty hot gel fuel cup with the aramid fire gloves from the SPIN, replace it with a cold gel fuel cup and refill it safely.
Give your SPIN 90 | 120 an upgrade
With the SPIN 900 | 1200, we replace the open gel fuel container with the patented Bio-Burner, which creates a brighter and more distinctive flame thanks to sophisticated burner technology, with a burning time up to 33% longer – while using the same amount of liquid bioethanol.
The good news: the Bio-Burner is available separately, which means you can also retrofit your SPIN 90 or SPIN 120 with the Bio-Burner and enjoy all the benefits of the new SPIN.
The fuel makes the difference!
Depending on the SPIN model, it is important to use the correct product-specific fuel:
- Both fuels are made from renewable biological raw materials and burn odourless, soot-free and smokeless.
- SPIN 90 | 120 may only be filled with gel fuel (black cap).
- SPIN classic, SPIN air and SPIN X as well as all SPIN models retrofitted with the Bio-Burner 900 | 1200 may only be filled with liquid fuel (green cap).
How do I know which fuel gel container size I need?
The size of the fuel gel container you need depends on your SPIN. If you have a SPIN 90, you need the 90 container; for a SPIN 120, the 120 container.
If you are unsure which SPIN you have, check the label on the underside of your base or measure the diameter of the glass: SPIN 90 has a diameter of 9 cm, and SPIN 120 has a diameter of 12 cm.
Is the fuel gel container included with my SPIN 90 | 120, or do I need to order it separately?
With our SPIN 90 | 120, the fuel gel container is the heart of your SPIN and is already included. You can always purchase a second fuel gel container as a spare – or if you want to keep the fire going after your SPIN has gone out, simply replace the hot, empty container with a new one.
How do I turn my SPIN 90 | 120 into a SPIN 900 | 1200?
To upgrade, you only need the bio-burner with eco-ring and snuffer lid in the correct size for your SPIN, plus the liquid höfats bioethanol. By removing the gel container and inserting the bio-burner, you can quickly and easily transform your SPIN 90 | 120 into a SPIN 900 | 1200. From then on, please use only our liquid bioethanol with the green cap and the supplied snuffer lid.
Can I use the liquid bioethanol with the green cap in my SPIN 90 | 120?
No, the fuel gel container is designed exclusively for use with höfats bioethanol gel (black cap) – other fuels, such as liquid bioethanol (green cap), are not compatible and would cause heavy soot and fast burning.
Does the eco-ring of the bio-burner also work with my fuel gel container?
No, the eco-ring for extending burn time only works with our bio-burner, the second, slightly optimized insert we offer for SPIN 900 | 1200 | 1500.
